gingerbread christmas tree
I found an article on how to make these cute gingerbread christmas tree's from the notebook magazine. Something different for christmas day i thought! Not a traditional New Zealand theme anyway. So I decided to get crafting in the kitchen instead. Im not usually one for the kitchen, but thought i would share my attempt with you, here are the 2 trees I made for my friends and family to eat on christmas day! They were demolished, lol, really they were, everyone loved them! - I did too, heehee!

did you say dress-up this christmas?
Instead of Santa and Raindeers this year the ho! ho! ho! and jingling-jingle bells are coming from in-between the onik, onik, onik! and the meow, meow, meow's!
you'll never believe it - the farmyard decided to dress-up this christmas as you can see! Santa hats, antlers and Christmas decorations galore...
Christmas (limited additions) cards and kits are available to purchase, directly from Twospoonfulsofsugar via email: order@twospoonfulsofsugar.com or at the Paddington Arts Markets on oxford street every Saturday in Sydney, Australia.
Just choose your favourite animal and choose to add-on a santa hat or antler (its just that easy!)

the new guys
night after night, the lights were burning bright.
strange noises were coming from within the farmshed.
the gate swung open yesterday and who came out wagging his tail?
... It was Fritz the doggy, followed by Nellie the horse with Mr Kola the koala on her back and Dauwng! ( doing!, doing!, doing! ) the kangaroo.

natures beauty! inspirational!
made my dial smile
"amasing image sent to me via a friend from a friend....
looking like giant leaves floating in the sea, thousands of golden rays are seen here gathering off the coast of mexico. The spectacular scene was captured as the magnificent creatures made one of their biannual mass migrations to more agreeable waters. gliding silently beneath the waves, they turned vast areas of blue water to gold off the northern tip of the yucatan peninsula. Sandra Critelli, an amateur photographer, stumbled across the phenomenon.she said: 'It was an unreal image, very difficult to describe. the surface of the water was covered by warm and different shades of gold, and looked like a bed of autumn leaves gently moved by the wind.
